programs HCC continues to expand its capacity to develop, implement and partner with programs that promote access to quality health care and overall health and wellness. Some of our initiatives include: Health Care Advocacy ● Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment assistance ● Multi-state RFP program with other networks to share resources and promote network partners' services and programs ● Successful statewide effort to pass SB262, which prohibits health insurance carriers from denying payment for services provided via telehealth if the same service is covered for an in-office visit ● Assisting with a massive hospital renovation campaign that will increase capacity to treat patients locally, while stimulating economic development Health Information Technology (HIT) ● Development of a scalable HIT infrastructure that includes interoperability with network partners ● Stage 1 & 2 Meaningful Use attestation - fulfillment of electronic health records (EHRs) implementation and key operability functions as set forth by Federal guidelines Access to Care ● Primary care, oral health and mental health services at Live Well Community Health Center - Waverly ● Chronic disease management program that focuses on diabetes and depression ● Access to Primary Care Program in Odessa, Mo., that provides free primary care and prescription medication to those who qualify Student Nursing Program ● Provider-based telehealth education through a partnership with Area Health Education Centers ● Telehealth continuing education through MU Telehealth Network ● Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) programming for West Central MO
