NAP tax credits
The Missouri Department of Economic Development
awarded Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri a
Neighborhood Assistance Program grant in October of
2013, at a tax deductible rate of 70 percent, for all cash
donations. Donations support oral health care for children
receiving Medicaid, as well as major site renovations at
Live Well Community Health Center - Waverly.
John Poston, DDS and dental clinic staff provide the
following services:
● Dental exams
● Cleaning and fluoride treatments
● X-rays
● Fillings
● Tooth cavity repair
● Extractions
● Referrals for teeth and gum surgery
"We've had a vision for the
dental clinic since we
assumed ownership of Live
Well Waverly last June.
Expanding dental services to
children receiving Medicaid
has been a central part of that
vision. We also knew that the
clinic, although well-maintained, needed some
upgrades. The NAP grant
supports both of these goals.
"At the end of the day, we
want our patients to see Live
Well Waverly and Concordia
as medical homes.
"This initiative will help to get us
there. It's a win, win."
