10/ TheBucknerClarion.com May 22, 2014 Entertainment News The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Swings into Theaters Green Goblin. Overall, The Amazing Spider- Man 2 was a great experience. I laughed. I nearly cried. I dodged computer-animated debris flying at my precious face. And I recommend you go see it so you can, too. giving too much away, many of the visuals and stunts were choreographed specifically with a 3D audience in mind, so you won't be disappointed. SPOILER ALERT: At one point, I really thought I was about to become one with a manhole cover aimed straight for my forehead. It was great! Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx plays Max Dillon, who goes from endearing to terrifying when a freak accident (no surprise there) bestows him with the power to become the supervillain, Electro. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, illuminating the screen with a perfect combination of tangible chemistry and enough banter to last you until the next release in the Spider-Man franchise. We also see a newly envisioned return of one of Spidey's most notable villains, the By Tempest Wright You'll only get the full experience of having a web shot at you and an actual spider's web clinging to your face if you see the film in 3D. Nevertheless, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was an experience from start to finish. If you think the cinematic reboot of Marvel's Spider-Man comics is no different than the 2003 film, then a.) you're wrong and b.) …yeah, you're still wrong.
