The squad performed very well against the 13 teams in their division which earned them a 2nd place finish in Co-ed Small. Three members of the squad made the All-State team: Maddy Monday, Kendall Smith and Freddy Luarks Nine Osage Trail Middle School students auditioned for the Greater Kansas City Middle School All-District Band. The competition was pretty fierce, and of the hundreds of area middle school students who auditioned, one was selected for the band, Lauren Archer. Truman Gouldsmith received Honorable Mention! Archer practiced with the group on December 12 and gave a concert that evening at Park Hill South High School.
