Schools in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Area VI Association elected their officer
team for the 2016-17 school year. Bailey Jo Brockmeyer, a junior from Fort Osage High
School, was elected President of the officer team out of 16 candidates. (The first time a
Fort Osage student has earned this honor.) "We're excited to see how the year plays out.
We are very proud of Bailey Jo and her accomplishments and dedication to FFA," said
Taylor Lynch, Fort Osage FFA sponsor.

management and business, on February 10, 2015.
The competition was held at the Independence
Center. Twenty seven students competed and 18
students received a trophy. The following students
placed and competed at the DECA state competition
last month at the Lodge of the Four Seasons, Lake
Ozark, Mo.
