Schartz begins his duties effective July 2016. Schartz is replacing Brandon Hart who accepted the Activities Director position with the Grain Valley School District. "After spending 15 years as teacher, assistant coach, and head football coach in the Fort Osage School district I can't begin to express how excited I am to serve the district as the next activities director. After working with the current AD for many years, it is my hope to enhance the already great tradition that he helped to build. Go Indians," Schartz said. Schartz is a physical education teacher and head football coach at Fort Osage High School. Prior to teaching physical education, Schartz was a social studies teacher in the Fort Osage School District. Prior to teaching at Fort Osage, Schartz was a teacher and recovery room supervisor in the Park Hill School District. Schartz holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters of Science in Education Administration from the University of Kansas. Mark Enderle Honored by School Administration Association Mark Enderle was recently honored by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) for his service to public education. Enderle was one of eight former educators to receive the Association's Outstanding Emeritus Educator Award. This special recognition was recently made during the awards banquet at the MASA Spring Conference at Lake Ozark, Missouri. MASA presents the award annually to recognize individuals for their length of administrative service, their participation in MASA while an active member, significant accomplishments as a school administrator and for their continued interest in public education since retiring. Enderle was nominated for the award by his colleagues in the Grater Kansas City. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jason Snodgrass is pleased to announce two new head coaches for Fort Osage High School starting with the 2016-2017 School Year. Brock Bult will assume the role of head football coach at Fort Osage High School, pending Board approval on May 11, 2016. Bult is replacing Ryan Schartz who accepted the Activities Director position at Fort Osage High School. Lindsay Thompson will assume the role of head girls basketball coach at Fort Osage High School, pending Board approval on May 11, 2016. Thompson is replacing Dawn Williams who resigned. "I am excited for the opportunity to be the next head coach and build upon the tradition we have established over the past 11 years. I intend to make the transition smooth and seamless for the coaches and athletes as we move forward and prepare for the upcoming season," Bult said. "The Fort Osage Womens Basketball program is dear to my heart. I am honored to have the opportunity to grow the program and I am ready to get to work," Thompson said. Two New Head Coaches Named
