Floyd was born on September 27, 1948 in Odessa, Mo. He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 33 years, and for Jackson County Public Works for 10 years. He also worked at Santa's Tree Farm in Buckner for many years. He was a longtime member of Heart of God Fellowship and assisted there with the bus ministry. Preceding him in death are his son Keith James Riner, parents Raymond Riner and Bessie Riner, sister Bonnie Faye Brady, and brother Charles Riner. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Jean, step-mother Helen Riner, aunt Charlene Kraemer, son Andrew Riner, daughters Christy Hazelrigg (Barren), Ellen Hufford (Damon), and Amanda Riner, 15 grandchildren; Clayton, Bailey, and Sam Hazelrigg, Johni Riner, Chad, Hannah, Jonah, Harley, David, Lily, Ella, and Levi Hufford, Madison and Andrew Riner, and Della Grace Riner, brothers Lee Riner (Debbie), and Brian Riner (Lori), sisters Yvonna Riner-Stapleton, and Donna Roach (Dennis), step- brothers Dan Ellis (Debbie), and Sam Ellis (Estella), and step-sister Beverly Wilson (Danny). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his wife's aunt Lorraine Brotherton, sister-in-law Betty Sue Thompson, brother-in-law Butch Allen (Vickie), a large church family, and many, many friends. Floyd was well known and loved in our little town of Buckner and never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed. Services were held on Thursday, January 19, at Heart of God Fellowhip in Sibley, Mo. There was a remembrance fellowship at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Obituary for Floyd Riner
