She keeps her plates spinning better than any circus performer and somehow manages to maintain her sanity and still provide the leadership necessary in overseeing the many projects of the HCC. Since coming to work for her, my eyes have been opened to the many health issues facing the citizens of Lafayette County and what is needed to go about procuring the funding necessary to implement the many health and wellness programs. Her inspiration is contagious and her dedication inspires us all to dedicate ourselves to this noble cause. Tom Corporon, Community Health Manager I previously worked for HCC about three years and took another job with one of the network partners. I then served on HCC's Board of Directors both as a member and an officer, Secretary/Treasurer. I will be returning to work for HCC in January 2014. HCC is truly a wonderful organization to work for and to be a part of. Toniann is an amazing person with an unlimited vision, 'the sky is the limit' attitude, along with high goals. She will help you every step of the way to reach your potential. She has a very rare trait that makes her a true leader, friend and co-worker. Her faith, trust, honesty and integrity are just a few things that make her so special. It is a 'team' environment, and that makes you have a wonderful feeling of being a part of something that is much bigger than yourself. Toniann is innovative, energetic, fun and hard-working in her role as executive director of HCC. She provides outstanding leadership for her staff, challenges them to work hard and to have fun doing it, and is not afraid to jump in and get dirty in the process. She has a true passion for bringing health care resources to the community, collaborating with others and bringing everyone to the table who is willing to increase access to health care and healthy lifestyles. She is a visionary that always sees a bigger, better and healthier world for rural Missouri. Those who work alongside her feel motivated and validated. She is truly a joy to work with. I wish everyone could enjoy what they do as much as the staff at HCC enjoys working with Toniann! It has been a privilege to serve those in need and to be a part of the Live Well team, in a facility that can do so much for so many.
